FEEDING PROGRAMS
The children's homes operated by the Omega Foundation are located in
areas of extreme
poverty and malnutrition among children is
widespread. In order to
help families
in these
poverty-stricken areas, several feeding programs are
carried out. In some areas, school
children can go to designated
locations to receive a meal after school.

CLEAN AND SAFE DRINKING WATER
|
|
One of Omega's projects in India is providing clean and safe
drinking water for villages
around the city of Vijayawada. Many
villages have no source of safe drinking water
and the people use contaminated and
bacteria infested water from a river or canal.
For only
$800.00, we can drill a well and install a hand pump.
This
provides enough safe drinking water for the whole village.
